LOS ANGELES, Calif. (January 19, 2010) – The trials and tribulations of a quirky, perpetually single twenty-something lawyer are captured in "Ally McBeal" Season Two, arriving on DVD April 6 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

The hilarious and heartwarming series follows the everyday, inner-life moments of the neurotic Ally, played by Golden Globe-winner* and household favorite Calista Flockhart ("Brothers and Sisters"). Featuring outrageous fantasy sequences and vivid daydreams, the boundary between her personal and professional life is hysterically blurred. Adding to the daily drama are an ensemble supporting cast, including Courtney Thorne-Smith ("According To Jim"), Emmy-winner Peter MacNicol ("Numb3rs") and Jane Krakowski ("30 Rock"). The second season gets even more heated when Portia de Rossi ("Better Off Ted") joins the Boston law firm of Fish & Cage as the attractive Nelle "Sub-zero" Porter and Lucy Liu ("Charlie's Angels") arrives as the sultry and crude new client Ling Woo.

Created and Produced by television icon David E. Kelley ("Boston Legal", "The Practice"), the second season of "Ally McBeal" included star–studded guest appearances, including Wayne Newton, John Ritter, Rob Schneider, Jennifer Holliday, Lara Flynn Boyle, Bruce Willis, Anna Nicole Smith, Barry White, Rosie O'Donnell and Al Green, among others.

This season also features guest star Tracey Ullman's Emmy–winning performance as Ally's unconventional psychotherapist in the episode "Sideshow." This acclaimed season also took home two additional Emmys and won a Golden Globe for Best Series for the second year in a row. The "Ally McBeal" Season Two six disc DVD set contains all 23 episodes and will be available for the suggested retail price of $39.98 U.S. /$54.98 Canada.
