Best Buy cuts HBO Box Set prices by HALF!

Entering the home retail stretch before Christmas, Best Buy slashed by 50% the retail price in stores and online for all HBO series and box sets.

Seasons one through five of Entourage are available for $16.99 each on standard DVD, compared to $33.99 previously. The 2001 mini-series Band of Brothers now retails for $32.49 ($64.99) on DVD and $37.49 ($74.99) on Blu-ray.

The Sopranos: The Complete Series retails for $174.99 on DVD, compared to $349.99 before. Other HBO titles on DVD at Best Buy include John Adams ($27.49), Sex and the City: The Complete Series ($99.99), Six Feet Under: The Complete Series ($124.99), The Wire: The Complete Series ($89.99), Deadwood: The Complete Series ($74.99), Rome (seasons one and two $29.99 each), Generation Kill ($27.49), Curb Your Enthusiasm (seasons one through six $17.49 each), and Flight of the Conchords: The Complete First Season ($13.49).
