From Lionsgate and director Jon Amiel ("The Singing Detective," "Entrapment") and writer John Collee ("Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World") comes the psychological, heart-wrenching story based on the true life of Charles Darwin.

Starring Paul Bettany ("The Da Vinci Code"), Academy award-winner Jennifer Connelly (Best Supporting Actress in a Supporting Role, "A Beautiful Mind," 2001), and Jeremy Northam ("Gosford Park"), this epic tale is the screen adaptation of Annie's Box, which was penned by Darwin's great-great-grandson, Randal Keynes, using the family's personal letters and diaries.

Garnering "3 out of 4 stars" by People, the critically acclaimed film will be available on DVD and for digital download on June 29th. The "Creation" DVD will contain special features that include an audio commentary with Director Jon Amiel, a making-of documentary "The Battle for Charles Darwin," and 11 featurettes that discuss and debate the life and work of Charles Darwin.

Suffering from ill health and haunted by the memory of his deceased daughter, Darwin (Paul Bettany) is driven to finish his masterwork--even as his enemies increase and the gulf widens between him and his deeply religious wife (Jennifer Connelly).
