Fox to release new transfers of THE FRENCH CONNECTION and WALL STREET on Blu-ray September 18

Fox announced a new Filmmaker Signature Series with high-quality picture and sound "true to the director's vision, thanks to an all-new HD transfer." The Filmmaker Signature Series Blu-rays will also include a 28-page booklet on the making of the film, with an in-depth profile of the director and production stills.  

Titles to be released in this series on September 18 are Best Picture winner "The French Connection," Oliver Stone's "Wall Street," "The Brothers McMullen," "She's the One," "Hoffa," and "The War of the Roses."

"The French Connection" special features will include a commentary by director William Friedkin, a second commentary by Gene Hackman and Roy Scheider, and isolated score track, deleted scenes with optional director's commentary, "Anatomy of a Chase," "Hackman on Doyle," "Friedkin and Grosso Remember the Real French Connection," "Scene of the Crime," "Cop Jazz: The Music of Don Ellis," "Rogue Cop: The Noir Connection," and "Making the Connection: The Untold stories of the French Connection."

"Wall Street" bonus features include a commentary by director Oliver Stone, "Greed Is Good," deleted scenes with director's commentary, "Money Never Sleeps: The Making of Wall Street," and "Fox Movie Channel Presents Fox Legacy with Tom Rothman." 

"The Brothers McMullen" bonus features include a commentary by director Edward Burns, a trailer, and "Fox Movie Channel Presents Fox Legacy with Tom Rothman."

"She's the One" bonus features include a commentary by director Edward Burns, an untitled featurette, the trailer, and a "Walls" music video by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

"Hoffa" bonus features include a commentary by director Danny DeVito, "The Music of Hoffa: A Conversation with Danny DeVito and David Newman, Danny DeVito's speech at the 2011 Teamsters Convention in Las Vegas, excised scenes, historical news coverage, personal anecdotes from Teamsters members, special shots, DeVito's 11, Siskel & Ebert, a discussion after the first script read-through, production gallery, and "Hoffa" shooting script. 

"The War of the Roses" bonus features include a commentary by director Danny DeVito, "Danny DeVito and Producer James L. Brooks: Revisiting The War of the Roses," "The Music of The War of the Roses: A Conversation with Danny DeVito and Composer David Newman, deleted scenes montage, trailers, TV spots, production gallery, and script.
