Home video industry expects a fourth-quarter surge in sales
Who can blame them? Just look at the big titles scheduled to be released!

According to Variety, Hollywood honchos are hopeful for a fourth-quarter surge in home video sales, and why shouldn't they be?
Debuting on home video during the final weeks of 2012 are "Titanic 3D" (this week), "Snow White and the Huntsman" (September 11), "The Avengers" (September 25), "Madagascar 3" (October 16), "Brave" (November 13), "The Dark Knight Rises" (no date set yet), "The Amazing Spider-Man" (no date set yet), and "Ice Age: Continental Drift" (no date set yet)
Scheduled to debut on Blu-ray later this year are the "Indiana Jones" trilogy (September 18), the complete James Bond catalog (September 25), "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" (October 9), and "Lawrence of Arabia" (no date set yet).
No kidding there's going to be a surge.
