It's A Wonderful Life on DVD & Blu-ray

Paramount will release the It's A Wonderful Life gift set on DVD this November 3rd. A Blu-ray special edition will also be released on the same day.

The 2-disc DVD giftset will inlcude:
• Color and Black/White film presentations
• Limited Edition Christmas Ornament & Commemorative Booklet
• The Making of It's A Wonderful Life (A documentary featurette hosted by Tom Bosley)
• A Personal Remembrance (A special tribute to Frank Capra narrated by his son, Frank Capra Jr.)
• Original Theatrical Trailer

The Blu-ray is also a 2-disc set but its contents haven't been confirmed yet. So far, it is said to contain The Making of It's A Wonderful Life (used on previous DVD releases) and the original theatrical trailer in HD.

Synopsis:
George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all – and it's Christmas! As the angels discuss George, we see his life in flashback. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence. Clarence then shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn't been for all of his good deeds over the years. Will Clarence be able to convince George to return to his family and forget suicide?
