According to a fresh article in the L.A. Times, Paramount/DreamWorks are still behind HD DVD, despite rumors to the contrary. "Paramount officials said they would continue to support HD DVD" according to the news paper.

However, sources say that their contract with HD DVD would allow them to change side if Warner Bros. should decide to change side. As everyone knows, they did and it is believed that Paramount is considering what to do next. It is believed they will decide before the end of this month.

Until then, they will continue as usual, which was made clear today when "Bee Movie" was confirmed and added to the studio's Press/retailer Web site as coming to HD DVD in March.

The article also said that Toshiba had been talking to retailers. "I've been here for two days of back-to-back meetings with retailers," Jodi Sally, vice president of marketing for Toshiba America's digital audio video group said. "We are really encouraged by our meetings and the response of retailers that they will continue to offer consumers a choice."

More when we have it.
