It appears that Warner Home Video mistakenly left some of the extras off its Superman III Deluxe Edition, which the studio released separately and in a 14-disc Ultimate Collector's Edition on November 28. In addition, some people have reported that the first disc of Superman: The Movie in the the Four-Disc Special Edition does not include the Dolby Digital 2.0 track. However, the first disc in the four-disc set sent to DVDTOWN for review includes both a Dolby Digital 5.1 and a Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo soundtrack, so this may be an isolated problem. There have been no reported issues with any other "Superman" editions.

The studio issued the following statement regarding the errors: "Warner Home Video wants to extend apologies to all of our loyal Superman fans, who've waited so patiently for these great collections, and has taken immediate steps to correct these errors with the intention of standing behind our product 100 percent." Consumers may call (800) 553-6937 for replacement Superman discs.
