As a new release, the sci-fi action thriller "Looper" didn't have much competition. But a look at the rest of the Redbox Top 10 rental lists tells you that America seems to be wanting an adrenalin rush. "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Total Recall" 2012 both made the top five lists, while "Premium Rush," "Resident Evil: Retribution," "Savages" and "MIB 3" turn up in the bottom half.

"Looper" stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis in a futuristic crime drama. In 2074 when a mob wants to whack someone they send the target 30 years into the past, where a hit man awaits. But this time the mob wants to "close the loop" by transporting the hit man's future self so he can whack HIMSELF. Emily Blunt also stars.
