Two Hitchcock thrillers are coming to Blu-ray: DIAL M FOR MURDER and STRANGERS ON A TRAIN

Alfred Hitchcock thrillers "Dial M for Murder" and "Strangers on a Train" are headed for Blu-ray on October 9, 2012—and 3D enthusiasts can enjoy "Dial M" in 3D.
"Dial M for Murder" is one of the classic Hitchock films, starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, and Robert Cummings in a story about an ex-tennis pro who switches to Plan B when a scheme to murder his wife goes awry. The 1954 film earned a BAFTA nomination for Kelly, who won a New York Film Critics Circle Award for her performance. It was filmed in 3D and will be presented in 3D for the home theater as well, with a Blu-ray included. It's ranked #9 on the American Film Institute's list of 10 Greatest Mysteries. Run time is 105 minutes, and the SRP for the 3D Blu-ray and Blu-ray combo pack is $35.99, in special 3D lenticular packaging.

"Strangers on a Train" is a 1951 film starring Farley Granger, Robert Walker, and Ruth Roman in a tale about a psychotic socialite who approaches a tennis star and posits that the two of them can literally get away with murder. Raymond Chandler and Czeni Ormonde co-wrote the screenplay for this taut film-noir thriller. Run time is 101 minutes, and the SRP for the Blu-ray is $19.98.
