Angel Guts: Red Porno

Director Toshiharu Ikeda and writer Takashi Ishii, the creative team behind ‘Evil Dead Trap’ one of the greatest examples of Japanese horror in the last twenty years, had previously worked together on the equally controversial Angel Guts series. After being manipulated into participating in a hard-core porno shoot, Nami’s life takes an immediate turn for the worse as she becomes the object of desire for a lonely outsider. Angel Guts Red Porno explores sexual exploitation and deviation, scrutinizing society’s reaction to it, from the women who participate, to the audience that the sex industry is tailored for.
